Project-meeting, Turkey

Hear are some experiences how we feel after project meeting in Turkey, Kütahya:

Before Turkey:
Once I have been to Turkey but in the north part of it, so I’m interested in the city. I hope I can make new friends too. And I read that we are going to learn about how to take good pictures and I think I should improve my skills in taking pictures. And of course I want to learn language.
After Turkey:
I enjoyed the time in Turkey, the best was that weather was very warm. I thought we will go to Istanbul but we went to Kütahya. It is a little and lovely town. We didn’t go to school and didn’t learn (how I expected). We just took part in an English lesson what was held by Hakan and learnt a little bit about Turkish culture. We went sightseeing what I enjoyed very much. We visited a big tree and I climbed up on it. We also visited temples and museums. It was interesting that girls and women wore scarf on their head. We could go in a mosque near to a bazaar in Bursa, here we bought scarfs. Turkish students were very friendly and they wanted to have conversation with us even if some of them couldn’t really speak English. We didn’t have a kind of lesson about taking pictures but I took a lot so I practised. It was a surprise for us that we went to the Kossuth museum, it was really kind of Hamza and the other teachers.  I met new people and made some friends and I met Vincenzo, of course, who is the best photographer I have ever known. I love Turkish food, my favourite is baklava but sometimes I had stomach ache of it.
